For being this far north, and being from the Chicago suburbs where there's a lot of Mexican options, this place was great!! The enchiladas were spot on. Great flavors, seasoning, freshness. A great random find for me heading back south from a work trip. When I'm in the area, will definitely come again.

We ate here while coming back to our home town to see family. Everything about our first visit was AMAZING!! And we loved the fact that it was right across from our hotel. (the AmericInn, (which was also amazing!) We loved this place so much, (I had the grilled shrimp with mixed vegetables) that we went back for another meal (supper) and I had the same thing! Great portions and sooo tasty!! Can't wait to go back next summer when we visit again!!

Update: Food was great as always. However not a fan of the flies all over my food while eating. :( Love this place. The food here is authentic and the service is great. I was impressed with the cheese bean dip. Much bigger than the Mexican restaurants north of there. Bathroom were nice, clean and colorful. Two cosmetic downsides- the menus were falling apart and the seat cushions in the booth we sat at was torn or worn through, making it a little comfortable.

A good change of pace compared to everywhere else with burgers. Fast getting your order prepared and very good food. The restaurant was spotless, definitely can tell they take the time to do a great job cleaning.

Visited the area for work and ended up eating here all three evenings I was in town. Best Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico! Plus great service and reasonable cost. And, if you get lucky, you will get George as your waiter … super guy! Wish I could pack the whole restaurant in my suitcase and take it home!

Dined in with several friends while we stayed in Merrill. Lots of choices on the menu for everyone, even for me, the lone vegetarian in the group. This restaurant has prompt, friendly service. I will make a point to return next time I am in Merrill.
